The family business community gathered in London to celebrate the remarkable achievements of family firms at the Family Business of the Year Awards 2025. This prestigious event, a highlight since 2012, recognised the significant impact these businesses have on the national economy. Plenty of pride and passion evident and an incredible atmosphere in the room too.

Despite HMG not winning any awards we did claim runners-up in three separate categories; Manufacturing Business of the Year, Northern Family Business of the Year, and Northern People's Choice award, which is testament to the hard work of everyone at Riverside Works to be recognised amongst the best of British Family Businesses.
