HMG Paints is proud to share the exciting news that they have been shortlisted for two awards in the British Coatings Federation’s 2024 Awards, building on their success in 2023, in which HMG Paints won both the Marketing Award and the Excellence in Training Award. The shortlisted entries were announced in late July 2024, following a series of judging sessions. The BCF’s carefully selected shortlist was compiled from a wide array of high-quality entries.

Firstly, HMG has been nominated for the Customer Service SME Award alongside Anstey Wallpaper Co., and Thermaset. This award nomination comes in recognition of the Coating Specification Service where the team works closely with our customers to provide the perfect coatings for the customer's requirements.

In addition, HMG Paint is extremely proud of Isla Taylor who has been nominated for the Student of the Year award alongside Catherine Gibson of PPG Architectural Coatings and James Scullion of Tor Coatings. As a key member of the R&D Lab at HMG, Isla’s nomination is a testament to her hard work and achieving outstanding scores in examinations and practical work when completing their training modules.

Regarding the event as a whole, BCF CEO Tom Bowtell commented: “The competition was incredibly strong this year, perhaps one of the toughest ever with over 70 entries. All the companies that made the shortlist should be extremely proud of their achievements.”

The event winners will be announced at the Awards dinner on Wednesday, 6th November 2024, at The Principal, York. HMG Paints Ltd look forward to celebrating with industry peers and honouring the outstanding achievements across all categories. See below for the full list of BCF’s nominated entrees:
