SQ26 Crackle Coat
TOPCRACKLE
An air dried special effect finish, originally developed for ultra high quality interior decorative domestic and industrial applications. The tough, flexible and adherent SQ 26 Basecoat can be applied over all suitably primed substrates. This is followed (after the basecoat has dried) by a full coat of the unique HMG SQ 26 crackle coat. During drying, a shrinkage effect on the specially formulated crackle coat leads to a unique decorative "Crackle finish" which is available in range of colours. Finally a clear over-lacquer is used to seal and preserve the unique "crackle" decorative effect.

Cleaning
Ensure surfaces to be coated are dry and must be cleaned using the appropriate HMG product to remove all traces of contaminants. HMG produce a full range of Preparatory Cleaners suitable for most cleaning and degreasing processes. Surface Preparation
Please refer to Knowledge Base for details on Surface Preparation. Thin SQ Basecoat 1:1 with 2738 Thinners. Apply 2 full coats of HMG SQ26 Basecoat over suitably primed substrate
Health & Safety
- Refer to SDS and tin label prior to use.
- Suitable respiratory equipment should be worn when spraying.
