Thixothane
TOPTHIXO
A 2 Pack acrylic / polyurethane thixotropic coating of extremely high build, and high performance. HMG Thixothane finds extensive use in the repair and re-coating of powder coated objects (most powder shades can be matched to pattern.) HMG Thixothane is extremely easy to use, to produce a finish which is comparable in long-term performance to powder coated finishes.

Cleaning
Many HMG build up systems can be used under HMG Thixothane including NT2000 Two Pack Etch Primer, Washfiller, a range of Epoxy primers & Polykote Primers. Very often HMG Thixothane is used for application directly onto clean and degreased steelwork. The highest standards of preparation are necessary, to achieve the full long-term potential of HMG Thixothane; although excellent results have been obtained (5 years exterior weathering by simple wire brushing and chipping, followed by 150 microns D.F.T of HMG Thixothane).
