DEF0101011


A two component, high solids, pigmented, air drying epoxy filler designed to fill uneven profiles of underlying substrate to improve the appearance of subsequent coatings. A higher solids formulation designed for filling more substantial profiles than DEF0101010, and can be utilised where VOC environmental compliance is required. This product conforms to the test requirements of DEF STAN 80-216. Can be overcoated with a variety of systems including DEF STAN 80-161 and DEF STAN 80-225 coatings.

Cleaning

Ensure surfaces to be coated are dry and must be cleaned using the appropriate HMG product to remove all traces of contaminants. HMG produce a full range of cleaners, silicone removers, degreasers and preparatory cleaners suitable for the cleaning process. Additional Information

DEF0101011 is a product that is resistant to attack by chemicals, and is also sandable without clogging.

The epoxy resins used within these paint systems have been proven to withstand extreme low temperatures up to -80°C when cured, and extreme high temperature of up to 250°C

With respect to high temperature resistance some yellowing may occur
above 200°C however the integrity of the resin system will not be compromised at this temperature.

Storage and Operational High Temperature: +71°C
Storage and Operational Low Temperature: -47°C

Passes freeze test at -20°C for 48 hours and subsequent cross-hatch adhesion test to ASTM D3359.
