A bare metal primer containing a high proportion of Zinc dust.It gives high performance corrosion protection to ferrous metal, achieved by excellent adhesion, sacrificial and self healing properties. Zinc rich is a cold galvanising system.

Cleaning
Ensure surfaces to be coated are dry and must be cleaned using the appropriate HMG product to remove all traces of contaminants. Pre primer or rust conversion treatments should not be used, this product is designed for application to suitably cleaned and degreased bare substrates. HMG produce a full range of cleaners, silicone removers, degreasers and preparatory cleaners suitable for the cleaning process.
